Getting the most out of your online account

Super and investments 101 | Date Posted: 18 May 2022

With your secure Mine Super online account, you have easy, immediate access to your account – 24/7. As a member, you can check your inbox, account balance and transactions, update your details or switch investment options whenever it suits you. Here’s a brief overview of what you can do in your online account.

Transaction history

You can see what money has gone in and out in your Transaction history. You can filter transactions by date and transaction type, and you can even download your transactions to a PDF or Excel spreadsheet.

Manage my account

In this section, you can view or change which investment options your money and / or future contributions are invested in. Remember, your super is a long-term investment, so it’s important to remain focused on the long-term, rather than short-term market volatility and ensure your strategies align to your personal situation and goals.

You can also view who your beneficiaries are, or make a non-binding nomination (for binding nominations, you’ll need to use a form). This allows you to have a say where your benefit, including your account balance and any insurance cover you’re entitled to, goes in the event that you were to pass away.

Manage my insurance

You can check the insurance on your account, or increase, decrease or cancel your Death and Terminal Illness (DTI) and Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD) insurance. Or, if you don’t have any insurance, you can apply online.

In the event you need to make an insurance claim, you can also start this online, and track the progress of your claim.

Inbox

From time to time we share information with you digitally, which you can find in your Inbox, such as your Annual Statement or important information about your account. We’ll also publish transaction confirmations to your inbox – for example, when you make an investment switch.

My profile

Here, you can review and update your personal details, including your email address. You can also update if you want to receive certain types of correspondence digitally or via the post.

Take a look at the video below for more info about these features.
