Harry Mitchell

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Mr Mitchell is a senior financial services executive with over 20 years' experience in law enforcement and wealth management. Prior to working at Mine Super, Mr Mitchell was the General Manager of Commonwealth Financial Planning at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, where he led a significant transformation program focusing on culture, profitability and customer outcomes. In addition to senior appointments in financial services in Australia and the United Kingdom, Mr Mitchell has held senior roles in law enforcement, banking and wealth management.

Mr Mitchell holds an Executive Master of Business Administration, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, has been certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt and has completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Harvard Business School.

Glenda Abraham

CHIEF ENGAGEMENT OFFICER

Ms Abraham is a senior executive with over 20 years' experience in the financial services sector. She has held executive and management roles across financial advice, operations and customer engagement at blue chip financial services organisations like Westpac Financial Advice, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and AMP.

Ms Abraham holds an Executive Master of Business Administration and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning.

Seamus Collins

CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER

Mr Collins is a senior executive with extensive experience in investment strategy and implementation for superannuation fund assets. He has over 28 years’ experience in financial markets, investments, portfolio management and risk management. Prior to his employment at Mine Super, Mr Collins worked closely with some of Australia’s leading superannuation funds in multiple roles at J.P. Morgan. He also has a strong background in equities markets from multiple roles held at the Australian Securities Exchange.

Mr Collins holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of New South Wales (Australian Graduate School of Management) and a Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Psychology) from the University of Sydney.

Steve Grant

EXECUTIVE ADVISER

Mr Grant is a senior executive whose working career has predominantly been in the financial services sector, with a focus on superannuation. He has held numerous senior management and executive roles in the areas of administration, insurance and customer service. Prior to his employment with Mine Super, Mr Grant held roles with NSW State Super and the NSW Superannuation Office.

Mr Grant holds qualifications in superannuation, customer management and organisational leadership. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, having completed the Company Directors Course and is a Fellow of ASFA.

Nicole Killen

CHIEF GOVERNANCE OFFICER

Mrs Killen is a senior executive whose working career has been in the financial services industry, focusing on superannuation at both Zurich Financial Services Australia Ltd and Accountants Superannuation Fund. She has held a number of executive positions covering fund operations, administration management, business development and governance, including risk management and compliance and secretariat management.

Mrs Killen holds a Master of Organisational Leadership through the University of Melbourne (Melbourne Business School). She holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance through the Governance Institute of Australia and also has qualifications in superannuation management and customer service and management. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a Fellow of ASFA. She has also served as a director on a superannuation board and is Chair of Recreo Financial Pty Ltd, an Australian fintech organisation specialising in superannuation and investment administration.

Tristan Reis – Freeman

CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER

Mr Reis-Freeman is a senior executive with extensive experience in financial services who has held senior roles at both Westpac Banking Corporation and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. He has a demonstrated track record in corporate strategy, marketing, data and analytics.

Mr Reis-Freeman holds a Master of Business Administration from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management and Bachelor of Information Systems from Macquarie University.

Grace MacPherson

CHIEF ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

Ms MacPherson is a senior executive with experience in the legal and financial services industries. She practiced as a lawyer in private practice before joining Mine Super and has held senior roles in legal, strategy and risk management.

Ms MacPherson holds a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Communication, Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and an Executive Master of Business Administration. Ms MacPherson is admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and is RG146 qualified.

Pat Maher

CHIEF PEOPLE OFFICER

Mr Maher is a senior executive with extensive experience in large industrial services organisations throughout Australia. He has held executive and management roles delivering human resources, training and business improvement functions for organisations such as WesTrac, John Holland and Boeing Australia.

Mr Maher holds a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Newcastle with a focus on Human Resources and Industrial Relations.

Callum Masson

CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER

Mr Masson is a senior executive with over 18 years’ experience in both financial services and project delivery. He has led large teams and held multiple senior management roles in Australia and the UK, with a focus on change management, technology, service design, marketing, customer experience and strategy. Prior to his employment at Mine Super, Mr Masson held multiple roles within Colonial First State.

Vasyl Nair

CHIEF RISK OFFICER

Mr Nair is a senior executive with extensive experience in developing, socialising and executing corporate strategy. Mr Nair has a strong background in law and corporate finance, having also held roles across operations, strategy, marketing, communications and risk related functions at Westpac and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

Mr Nair holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hon), Bachelor of Commerce, Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and an Executive Master of Business Administration. He is admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW as a solicitor, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has achieved a Certificate of Business Excellence from the Haas School of Business, U.C. Berkeley. He is also a director of Recreo Financial Pty Ltd, an Australian fintech organisation specialising in superannuation and investment administration.

Stephen Rowbottom

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Mr Rowbottom is a senior executive who has held multiple roles in the superannuation industry and broader financial services industry, both in Australia and internationally. Prior to joining Mine Super, Mr Rowbottom was the Chief Operating Officer at HOSTPLUS Superannuation Fund.

Mr Rowbottom holds a Master of Organisational Leadership from the University of Melbourne (Melbourne Business School), a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning), an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Superannuation), a Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. He is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustee (AIST) and a Fellow of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA). Mr Rowbottom is currently completing his Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
