The master custodian holds all investments as a way to manage risk. The master custodian also ensures investment managers follow the investing guidelines as set out by the Trustee and provides unit pricing services.
The Trustee has taken out group insurance policies to provide members with death and total and permanent disability insurance and income protection insurance benefits. The insurers used by Mine Super are registered by APRA under section 17 of the Life Insurance Act 1995.
