What you will be doing

Following an internal transfer, the role of Coordinator, Regulatory Communications has become available. Reporting to the Manager, Regulatory Communications, the role supports Mine’s member disclosure obligations through accessible product and technical communications.

In this role you will deliver of a range of communications and collateral including significant event notices, annual reports, statements, newsletters, campaigns, brochures, fact sheets and presentations. You will deliver this channel specific content through email, direct mail, social and web. You’ll also support the broader Marketing Engagement team with the allocation and tracking of jobs and manage the collateral library.

You will prepare and circulate relevant reports to support business decision making, communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on key deliverables and take action to improve existing practices and processes by identifying improvement opportunities.

Who we’re looking for

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a superannuation communications or marketing role.

Qualification Profile

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline (essential)

Experience Profile

  • Previous experience in financial services, preferably superannuation (essential)
  • Exceptional writing skills with proven ability to translate complex topics into accessible language
  • Comfortable writing for different channels and objectives e.g. online vs offline and consumer vs business
  • Strong organisational skills

What you will be doing

This is a 12 month parental leave contract as Coordinator, Engagement Marketing which supports the development and delivery of local area marketing activities for the Engagement business unit. This role reports to the Chief Engagement Officer and Executive Manager, Marketing and will work across our Queensland and New South Wales teams.

You will develop and leverage an in depth understanding of our brand, our customer value proposition, customer segments (and their needs) and emerging customers. This will be reflected in local area marketing activities such as: event management, sponsorship, brand management, collateral, local office presence and promotional items.

You will be responsible for preparing and circulating relevant reports to support business decision making; communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on key deliverables; taking action to improve existing practices and processes by identifying improvement opportunities; build and maintain relationships with the wider business, sharing best practice and identifying ways to improve customer experience.

Who we’re looking for

This is an exciting fixed term contract opportunity for someone with a minimum of 2-5 years experience in a marketing or communications related role.

What you will be doing
Reporting to the Chief
Strategy Officer (CSO), the Executive
Manager, People (EM) is responsible
for delivery of Mine Wealth and Wellbeing’s (Mine’s) people strategy (and other initiatives articulated in the
strategic plan). Specific areas of accountability include (among other things) organisational
development, workforce planning, talent management (across the lifecycle), industrial
and employee relations, design of performance and reward strategies, organisational
change, maintenance of remuneration frameworks and all other employment law
related matters.

Specifically,
the
EM is responsible for:

  • proactively leading and managing the day-to-day activities of the People team (including
    the Change Management function);
  • working with the CSO and Executive Team to identify opportunities to improve organisational
    capability through implementation of effective people practices which are
    aligned to the strategic plan; 
      
  • designing, developing and implementing Mine’s performance management framework (which
    captures all activities relating to remuneration, setting of goals and
    objectives, succession planning, talent management, learning / development and
    employee engagement);
  • maintaining Mine’s industrial relations frameworks and instruments;
  • capturing and reporting on relevant data, trends, risks and information to facilitate planning
    and support decision-making;
  • negotiation with employees or their representatives on all matters concerning employee relations
    and industrial instruments;
      
  • working collaboratively with the Executive Team and other Executive Managers to provide
    service and advice in relation to their people requirements;
  • coordination of WHS obligations in consultation with responsible persons under WHS Act as well
    as reporting WHS matters to the Executive Team and Board;
     
  • development of (and management in relation to) departmental budgets;
  • monitoring relevant compliance obligations and ensuring risk is managed appropriately and within
    appetite;
      
  • ensuring all legislative and organisational requirements are met; and
  • any other duties as required by the CSO.  

Who we’re looking for

Qualification profile

  •  Undergraduate qualifications in human resources or business related discipline (essential)  
  • Post-graduate qualifications in human resources or business related discipline (desired)
  • Training certifications in training/assessment, return to work and WHS consulting (among other things) (desired)  
  • Intermediate
    to advanced level skills, knowledge and experience in the practical use of
    Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Outlook, Word,
    Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote (essential)

Experience profile

  • Demonstrated experience of at least 7 years in a senior human resources role

This role is responsible for the delivery of scaled personal advice via telephone and video conference to Mine Wealth + Wellbeing members which is aligned with Mine Wealth + Wellbeing’s Strategy and key business outcomes.  Based in our Brisbane Office, this role reports to the Manager, Financial Advice (Qld).

More specifically, this role is required to:

  • Deliver personal (scaled) financial advice to members of Mine Wealth + Wellbeing Superannuation Fund (video conference and telephone advice); 
  • Ensure effective communication with members to develop strong client relationships; 
  • Comply with Fund, regulatory, and licensing requirements in delivery of advice; 
  • Assist with the delivery of ongoing member advice communication and education, including seminars and workshops;
  • Use all approved financial planning tools available to prepare clear and concise Statements of Advice to members;
  • Work with Advice Support team to enable the preparation of advice that meets licensing compliance requirements; 
  • Ensure all advice documents are accurate prior to presentation to the member;
  • Maintain client files in accordance with the agreed business processes;
  • Respond to day-to-day service or advice related queries from members either by telephone, video conference;
  • Satisfy requirements of the annual training plan and maintain CPD register; 
  • Research and maintain technical knowledge of products and trends in financial planning, investment markets, industry and legislative changes to allow for the provision of complex superannuation and non-superannuation advice.

You will have the support of working within a small group of senior financial advisers, fully supervised and professionally coached.
